Having a positive mindset and not letting negativity affect us is important as an entrepreneur. Starting a business is tough; it will take your time and resources. Having strong mental fortitude is crucial because you don't want to fail just because you listened to others. You can dictate how you will run your business, and that is the power you have to change the business for better or worse.
Today's special guest is Hema Reddy, founder of Crafty Counter, started her journey in 2018 with a mission to provide parents with high-quality, convenient, minimally processed, and delicious food options. Initially creating WunderNuggets, a variety of vegetarian and blended protein nuggets, she shifted focus in 2020 after learning about the environmental and ethical issues in poultry farming. This led to the company becoming 100% plant-based, launching WunderBites, and ultimately, in 2022, creating WunderEggs—a plant-based egg alternative. WunderEggs, which won the "Best New Meat Alternative 2022" award, launched at Whole Foods in January 2023 and continues to expand nationwide, aligning with Reddy’s mission to nourish both bodies and the planet without compromise.
