Nurys Santos, MSA, CPA, CFE, CVA is the Founder of Santos Consulting CPA, PLLC, and a trusted financial strategist with more than a decade of experience in business valuation, taxation, forensic accounting, and IRS controversy.
After emigrating from the Dominican Republic to the United States in 2009, Nurys rebuilt her career from the ground up while raising a family and advancing professionally. She earned her Master of Science in Accounting from Lehman College (CUNY) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña in the Dominican Republic. Before launching her own firm, she spent ten years as a partner at a private CPA firm, where she developed deep expertise serving closely held businesses and individuals navigating complex financial decisions.
Nurys has successfully represented clients before the IRS in audits and appeals, saving taxpayers substantial amounts in taxes, penalties, and interest. She has completed hundreds of business valuations across industries, supporting estate and gift tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and long-term strategy.
Today, Nurys is not only a CPA, but an educator, mentor, and advocate. She teaches accounting within her community, serves as a Trustee of the Inspirame Latina Foundation, and is deeply committed to empowering Latina women through financial education, leadership, and access.
