Immigration and Dystopia (ft. Nathan Pinkoski)
Mon Feb 02 2026
This week on Moment of Truth, Nick interviews Nathan Pinkoski about Jean Raspail's controversial 1973 novel, The Camp of the Saints, newly republished in English by Vauban Books with Pinkoski's introduction.
They explore the book's premise—a million immigrants sail to France, forcing Western institutions (government, military, media, and the church) to confront an influx of people—and make the case that it is a profound mirror to the West's spiritual malaise, cowardice, evasion of responsibility, and loss of love for one's own country.
They address what the author got right (such as spiritual sickness and authority crisis) and what he got wrong, and they examine the modern parallels to Europe and America today in elite conversions and institutional failures.
