S2 E5: Stress, Regulation & Staying Human in Heavy Times

Tue Feb 03 2026

Listen

In this solo episode, I reflect on the very real contrast between living in chronic stress and living from a more regulated place and how profoundly that difference affects the body, mind, and overall wellbeing. I share how the current heaviness of the world can quietly add to ongoing nervous system overload, why spiritually bypassing no longer feels true to me, and why getting completely bogged down doesn’t help either. I don’t have answers for how to “fix” what’s happening globally, but I do know how important it is to stay connected to ourselves, our bodies, and each other. This episode is an invitation to come back into regulation, to prioritise joy, play, and connection, and to remember that being weird, laughing, and feeling safe with others is kind of essential. *Music provided by Zapsplatt
