TGMS Ep: 248 Stewardship Over Success Part 2

Thu Jan 29 2026

Listen

In Part 2 of this powerful series, Greg gets highly practical about what real stewardship looks like inside a growing business. This isn’t theory—it’s daily execution. Greg breaks down how simple disciplines like a 5-minute stand-up meeting create urgency, expose excuses, protect time, and build leaders instead of dependency. You’ll hear why higher accountability always produces higher accomplishment, how ownership replaces blaming, and how momentum becomes a culture—not an accident. With a strong reminder that God owns it all, Greg explains why profit proves stewardship, why idle capital is failure, and why scaling only increases responsibility. This episode challenges you to eliminate waste, kill excuses, and start building your legacy early—because your net worth is temporary, but your stewardship is eternal. If you want to run your business with clarity, discipline, and purpose, this episode will raise your standard. 💼🙏🔥 00:00:00 Intro 00:31:19 Stewardship Over Success Part 2 00:14:23 5 Minute Stand Up Meeting 00:01:34 Comfort Kills Urgency 00:03:01 Each Leader Had To Answer Three Things 00:04:55 The Higher Accountability Level You Have, The More Accomplished of a Business You Will Be. 00:05:07 They Force Daily Progress 00:05:13 They Expose Excuses Immediately 00:05:13 Drift Becomes Visible 00:05:26 It Protects Time 00:06:29 It Builds Leaders, not Dependance 00:06:29 Ownership Replaces Blaming 00:06:37 Creates Momentum Culture 00:09:36 God Owns It All 00:11:59 Profits Proves Stewardship 00:12:02 Scale Increases Accountability 00:12:02 Idle Capital is A Failure 00:13:15 Clarity Creates independence 00:16:29 No Excuses, no Waste 00:16:35 Legacy is Built Early 00:18:04 Your net worth is temporary, Your stewardship is eternal 00:20:49 Outro
