How Government Overreach Threatens Texas | TEXIT Accelerator Session (Ep. 252)
Sat Feb 07 2026
In this episode, I pivot from a last‑minute guest cancellation to share, in full and without interruption, a Texit Accelerator session I participated in on 01/27/2026.
From my perch in Eagle Pass, I frame why government overreach remains a systemic problem regardless of who occupies the White House, and why Texans should understand the mechanics behind expanding federal power.
We dig into border security realities, the limits of executive orders, Supremacy Clause clashes, why rollback rarely sticks, and how an independent Texas could manage revenue without income taxes—leveraging trade, tariffs, natural resources, and leaner, closer-to-home governance. We also hit on taxation (and property taxes) as moral and structural failures, accountability through proximity, and concrete ways Texans can get active locally—campaigning, endorsing, and even running for office.
I close with reflections on the Texas Nationalist Movement community, upcoming conversations, and an invitation to keep learning, sharing, and staying engaged—because informed citizens are harder to manipulate, and serious issues deserve more than sound bites.
