Google's release of the Agentic Payment Platform, or AP2, with more than 60 partners and institutions based in web2 and web3. What does this mean for commerce and removing as much friction as possible for industries like GameFi?Basecamp from Coinbase's Layer 2 chain Base is this week, and part of the news is that they're exploring a Base network token after 2 years of not having one, and they've built an interesting two-way bridge between Base and Solana for developers to access token liquidity in both ecosystems, which Justin's team has already employed using Layer Zero's OFT tech.Bo Hines left his post from being President Trump's special advisor for crypto for a space in the private sector. We now know it's to lead the USA-only stablecoin for Tether, who issues USDT, the market-leading stablecoin, under the ticker USAT. It's GENIUS compliant on arrival, and I'm curious how US companies will embrace it as opposed to their own stablecoins now that GENIUS was passed and signed into law.
