Chris Chism is the Superintendent of the Pearl Public School District in Pearl, Mississippi, with 29 years of experience in education as a teacher, coach, school leader, and district administrator. A graduate of Mississippi State University, Chris is widely recognized for his work in educational technology, data-driven instruction, and artificial intelligence in education.
Over the past 15 months, Chris has delivered more than 150 presentations on AI, speaking to educators, business leaders, and policymakers across the Southeast, Washington, D.C., and New York. He has presented at the Mississippi Capitol and appeared on radio and television discussing practical and ethical uses of AI. Under his leadership, the Pearl Public School District has earned an “A” rating for three consecutive years, while Pearl High School achieved significant gains in graduation rates—particularly for students with disabilities.
Chris is passionate about students, teachers, leadership, and innovation, and is committed to advancing education in ways that elevate people while preparing them for the future.
