We are officially twenty-five percent of the way through the 21st Century. In school terms? That means the First Quarter is over. The mid-terms are coming up. And it is time to sit this Century down for a serious Parent-Teacher Conference.
So, for this episode, we are throwing out the standard Oscars or Golden Globes categories. You won't hear "Best Director" or "Best Visual Effects" today.
Instead, we have built “The Fandy’s”, a prestigious award to highlight some of our favorites from the century so far.
We’ve broken down the last twenty-five years of movies, TV, games, and internet chaos into categories that actually make sense to those of us who live in the classroom.We’re talking about The "Group Project That Actually Worked" Award for the best crossovers. We’re handing out The "Dog Ate My Homework" Award for the biggest flops. We’re looking at The "Class Clowns," the "Hidden Gems," and yes, we are even handing out the "Please Stop" Award for the slang that has destroyed our souls since the year 2000.We have the red pen ready. We have the rubric. Let’s see who made the Honor Roll and who is getting sent to the Principal’s office. Let’s get into it.
