If You Don’t Use It, You Lose It

Let’s talk about a painful truth in fitness:
If you don’t use it… you will lose it.
I recently took about two months off of running, and guess what? My numbers dropped hard. It was like I had rewound the clock by six months.
Now—did I lose everything? No.
But I lost a lot, and it reminded me that consistency isn’t optional. It’s the price we pay to keep what we’ve earned.
Fitness doesn’t give participation trophies.
You stop showing up, your body starts subtracting.
The good news? You can rebuild.
But every time we restart, it’s a little tougher.
So even if your workout is short, even if it’s just 10 minutes—do something today.
Protect the progress you’ve made.
Because in fitness, the rent is due every damn day.
