Clarity on Fire is a podcast for people who know what they DON'T want out of their life and career, but aren't sure what they'd RATHER be doing. We're Kristen and Rachel, two best friends from college and certified life coaches who are here to help you cut through the information overload, get unstuck, and focus not JUST on how you can have a career you're passionate about, but how to create a whole LIFE that feels fulfilling. In a world where it's easy to exist but hard to feel alive, we want you to experience the relief of knowing that YES, you're allowed to want more out of your life and career. And NO, you don't have to wander through the dark anymore. Our job is to light the fire that shows you the way.

Bonus Book Club! All the Way to the River by Elizabeth Gilbert

Fri Jan 30 2026

Listen

Calling all fellow bookworms, library nerds, and general lovers of literature — it's time for another book club episode of the podcast!   Whenever there are five Fridays in a month, we devote the extra Friday to a book that we can't get enough of.   And wow, we REALLY cannot get enough — and can't stop thinking about — All the Way to the River by Elizabeth Gilbert.   This book is both incredibly popular and intriguingly divisive. People either love it or hate it, which made us all too curious to dive in.   All the Way to the River is a memoir about what happens when two addicts confess their love for each other after one of them has been given a terminal cancer diagnosis. If that sounds heavy — it is! But it's also a fascinating, funny, shocking, WILD ride through all of the highs and lows of loving and losing someone (and also losing yourself, in them).   So, buckle up for a super interesting, fun episode of the podcast! You'll hear us get into... Why this book is so controversial, and our take on the controversy How Elizabeth Gilbert went from being "that nice lady who wrote Eat Pray Love" to a raging sex and love addict who gave away literally millions of dollars while in the throes of her addiction What happened after Liz and her best friend, Rayya Elias, learned that Rayya had six months to live The deep insights we got from the minds of two different addicts And a lot of wild stories running the gamut from deeply spiritual to boldly criminal   And if you haven't read it, don't let that stop you from listening! There's a ton to learn, whether you plan to read it or not.   Leave a comment after you've listened to let us know what resonated most from this conversation.   APPLY TO WORK WITH US 1:1! If you're …   ✅ Very clear about what you don't want out of your life and career, but know you need to dive a whole lot deeper into what you do want... ✅ A little nervous about the prospect of massive change (but at this point in your life, you also deeply understand that the only real risk is not changing) … ✅ Looking for individual attention – someone to hold you accountable – and the benefit of substantial coaching expertise focused solely on you, then we've got good news …   We're CURRENTLY accepting applications for new coaching clients!   We won't be doing another coaching enrollment until at LEAST 2027, so if now feels like the right time, let's talk.   ·      We have space for 8 clients, and some of those spots are already taken, so act quickly if you think this could be for you.   ·      This is for people interested in getting started in February or March.   ·      We have both smaller and larger options for 1:1 coaching, and can talk through which one is best for you.   ·      You don't have to know for sure that you want to move ahead with coaching. You just have to be serious enough about it to want to have a conversation.   Ready to talk about it?
