In this bonus episode, Jessica finally sits down with her husband, Dameon (or known to many as Hubbard), to unpack her DNF at the Kosciuszko 100 in November 2025.
Jessica and Dameon walk through the full journey: the lead-up to race day, the setbacks along the way, the injury that complicated everything, and the turbulent decisions with making it to the start line. Jessica shares what it was like running with an injury, the moment she knew that finishing the race was slipping away, and the emotional weight of making the call to DNF.
Jessica also reflects on why she thinks the injury happened, while acknowledging that sometimes you can never fully know.
